Do you feel bombarded?! Maybe it’s with the things we need to do for daily survival, our own personal issues, societies imposed ideals and more.
We deal with loss, fear, anger, uncertainty. We live in our past, and believe what others have told us we were. Or we see magazines, billboards and social media feeds filled with unobtainable and unrealistic pictures of lives that we don’t have.
What we fail to realize is that we can control how we react and perceive ourselves through all of this.
How do we do that exactly?
On my 4 Simple Worthiness Mantras To Incorporate Into Your Daily Life video, I talked about a few of my favorite mantras. Let’s take a closer look!
1. I am enough
This is a great mantra for when I feel stuck in the comparison trap. Either comparing myself to other people, or comparing where I currently am in life to where I thought I’d be by now. Sound familiar? I used to think by age 25 I’d be married, age 28 have kids, age 30 have a house and yada yada yada…
Well, we all know that’s not how life works, right??? When I find myself in those situations, it is easy to get caught up in feeling like I are not good enough. But I AM ENOUGH. Right now. As I am. We are all on our own journey. Yours will be different from mine. Mine will be different from yours. Each day, each step, each moment we are right where we need to be.
I am enough. I am enough. Repeat it and believe it.
2. I am strong
This is my favorite mantra for when I feel overwhelmed with life. I use this when I feel stress, uncertainty, or fear. I know that no matter what happens, I can get through it. Big things, or small things. I am strong enough to get past it. I read a great quote the other day that I absolutely loved.
“So far you’ve survived 100 percent of your worst days. You’re doing great.” – Unknown
To me that quote says it all!! We are survivors. You and I are capable of doing hard things.
I am strong. Say it with me. I AM STRONG. Girl, yes you ARE!
3. I am abundant
Abundance means different things to different people, but I use this mantra when I need to feel like I have more than enough of SOMETHING. It could be money, time, love, gratitude, energy, compassion or faith. For you it could mean something else entirely. The idea is to know that whatever you need to feel or have, that you have more than enough. Feeling and being abundant is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. I love to think of abundance in the same way I think about the Universe. It is ever moving and shifting and infinite! We are part of that. Isn’t that incredible?
I am abundant. Spread your arms open wide and declare it!
4. I am worthy
I am worthy. This is a big time mantra for me. I use this when I question whether or not I deserve the good things in my life. My family. My business. My friends. My health. Big time stuff. And it’s hard for me to feel worthy all the time. But this mantra helps me shift back into knowing that I am worthy of it.
If a friend asked me if she deserved success, love, health, money, etc…. of course I would say she did!!! Well, same goes for me. And you. And all of us. We want the best for our family and friends. And it is high time we start telling ourselves that we are worthy of the best too. Don’t mistake worthiness for conceit, they are quite different!!!! I think that idea holds many of us back from embracing the concept of worthiness. We don’t want to be perceived as conceited or spoiled. But worthiness is not thinking you are better than anyone else. It is allowing yourself to accept and embrace the good things that happen to you and know that more good is coming!!!
I am worthy. Worthy of love, respect, success, and all the magic the world has to offer.
